The Chicago School of Music was founded by Richard Schieler in September of 1998 under a different name in Pipers Alley in Old Town. Shortly after opening, the school relocated to Chicago Ave and Halsted where it remained for the following 12 years. The school relocated again in 2012 to larger facility at 900 N Fraklin to accommodate growth.
The Chicago School of Music has world class teachers who are dedicated music mentors and educators. We don’t treat students like they are another number. Our teachers and staff believe in providing students with the experience in a stimulated learning environment.
We offer private and individualized training in the guitar, voice, violin, clarinet, saxophone, bass, drums, piano, flute, and harp. Students are invited to have a trial lesson with one of our teachers to see if they would be the right fit for them.
